Writing Desk

This piece was designed from three photographs supplied by the client. Padauk is used for the turned legs and red timber, vavonar burr, ebony and boxwood are used to frame the pale green leather writing surface (skiver). The skiver had gold tooling to balance the border and boxwood inlay. It is finished with a clear lacquer.
